New Payment Option!

We’re excited to introduce ZKP2P, a new way to buy Buzz safely and easily.

ZKP2P is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Instead of paying us directly, you purchase digital dollars from a verified seller using payment methods such as Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Once you’ve paid, you prove it through a browser extension, and the system instantly delivers your digital dollars and uses them to purchase Buzz!

Think of it like a vending machine:

• Sellers load the machine with digital dollars.
• You pay the seller (via Venmo/PayPal/Zelle, or another supported payment method).
• When you provide proof, the vending machine automatically releases the digital dollars.
• No one holds or touches your payment except you and the seller.

Prerequisites

To use the ZKP2P system, you must have;

• A Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Wise, or Revolut account. Options vary depending on your geographic location, see below.
• Google Chrome Browser.
• The PeerAuth Chrome browser extension, required to verify your transaction on the blockchain.

How the Purchase Works

The Process

1. Buy $(your chosen Buzz amount) in digital dollars from a verified seller
   • Send the exact amount, to the exact username/email, using the exact platform shown in the checkout page (Venmo/PayPal/Zelle).
   • This payment goes directly to the seller – not Civitai.
   • Use the browser extension to provide cryptographic proof of payment.
   • Once proof is valid, the system automatically releases your digital dollars.
2. Buy (equivalent Buzz amount) with those digital dollars
   • Your digital dollars will be used to purchase Buzz, and delivered to your account automatically.

The entire process is completed within 1-2 minutes.

Accuracy is Critical!

The proof system is exact. If your payment doesn’t match perfectly, it will not work. We provide a “copy” button on each required component in the payment screen to ensure typos don’t occur!

You must:

• Send the exact amount shown in the initial payment screen (e.g., $51.30, not $50.00 or $50.25).
• Use the correct payment platform – if you started the purchase with Venmo, you cannot complete it with PayPal!
• Send to the exact username/email shown in the initial payment screen.
• Pay in USD only.

Common errors that will cause a transaction to fail, and Buzz not to be delivered:

• One-cent mismatches; wrong amounts being sent.
• Sending to the wrong recipient.
• Attempting to pay from a business account.

The Purchase Process

Begin by opening the Buy Buzz Modal from the main Profile Picture menu.

The payment options available will vary, depending on what’s available in your region;

• Users in the United States have access to; Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, and Wise.

• Users in Europe have access to PayPal, Wise, and Revolut.

• Users in Canada & Australia have access to PayPal, and Wise.

• Users in Japan have access to PayPal, Wise, and Revolut.

In this tutorial, I’ve selected PayPal. The following screen initiates the process. Please read the information carefully before checking the box and confirming that;

• I understand I’m buying digital dollars from another person through ZKP2P

The next step – the verification – requires the installation of the PeerAuth Chrome browser extension, made by ZKP2P;

Once connected, you’re ready to send a payment via your chosen payment method to purchase digital dollars from a supplier (person) you’ve matched with via ZKP2P.

You must now navigate to the payment platform you chose in the first step (in this case, PayPal), and make a transfer as instructed – remember, the exact amount must be sent, via “Friends and Family”, in USD, from a personal PayPal account.

When using PayPal, if you do not see the “Friends and Family” option, do not proceed with the payment! Cancel the transaction and try with a different payment method.

Return to your Civitai tab and indicate that you have made the payment;

Progress will be shown as the transaction is verified, and your digital dollars are settled on the blockchain;

When complete – Buzz will automatically be purchased using your digital dollars.

Within a few seconds, your Buzz will be delivered to your Civitai account, and the ZKP2P transaction is complete!

Note that the flow will vary somewhat depending on your chosen payment method.

FAQ

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: No, due to the nature of the ZKP2P process, we cannot reverse or refund payments.

Q: I have a problem with my payment!
A: Your first point of contact for payment issues is the seller; the user whose information you used to send the payment.

Q: I have a problem with the Browser Extension!
A: The PeerAuth Chrome browser extension is managed by ZKP2P. Questions related to the extension must be directed to ZKP2P.

Q: Do ZKP2P purchases confer the Membership Bonus Buzz?
A: Yes! If you have an active Membership, you will receive Bonus Buzz, once digital dollars have been used to purchase Buzz!

Q: Can I purchase Memberships via ZKP2P?
A: No, ZKP2P is currently only available for Buzz purchases. Pre-paid Memberships can currently be purchased via our vendor.
