Big news! While we work on integrating a new credit card payment processor, we’re excited to offer a new way to get Buzz: gift cards are now available through BuyBuzz.io! These prepaid cards come in convenient denominations of 10,000, 25,000, and 50,000 Buzz – equivalent to $10, $25, and $50 – making it easier than ever to top up your account, support your favorite creators, or share Buzz with a friend.
These gift cards are 100% digital and instantly redeemable, meaning no waiting, no shipping, and no hassle. As soon as you complete your purchase, you’ll receive a unique code (on-screen and via email) you can redeem immediately on Civitai to load up your account with Buzz.

BuyBuzz.io supports a range of payment methods to make checkout as smooth as possible. You can currently use PayPal and Venmo, and we’re working on expanding these options.
How to Purchase Buzz with Gift Cards via BuyBuzz.io
The following steps walk you through making a BuyBuzz.io purchase.
Head to BuyBuzz.io
Head over to the official Buzz gift card site – https://buybuzz.io
Choose Your Desired Buzz Amount
Select the amount of Buzz you’d like to purchase – 10,000 ($10), 25,000 ($25), or 50,000 ($50). You can mix and match, adding multiples to your cart, should you wish to purchase more in a single transaction.
Proceed to Checkout
After selecting your gift card amount, you’ll have a few checkout options:
- Click “Add to Cart” if you want to keep browsing or purchase multiple cards.
- Click “Pay with PayPal” to continue, or click “More payment options” to select the Venmo option.
Enter Payment Details
Enter your email address and proceed through the checkout.
Important: Be sure to enter a valid email address during checkout. Your digital gift code will be shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you. If you close or navigate away from the site before saving the code, your email is the only way to recover it!
Receive Your Digital Code
Once the payment is complete, remain on the confirmation page! After a short loading period a View Gift Card Codes button will become available.
Your digital gift card redemption code will also be emailed to the email address provided (or the email address tied to your PayPal account) within minutes – please check your Junk/Spam folders!
Copy your Gift Card Code
You’ll see your Buzz gift card code – copy it to your clipboard before you navigate away!
You’ll also receive the same code by email, just in case. Either way, you’ll need it to redeem your Buzz on Civitai – so keep it handy!
Redeem Your Code on Civitai
Head to your Buzz Dashboard and look for the Redeem Code button, under the Current Buzz chart;
Paste your Code into the box, and click Redeem!
That’s it – your Buzz has been credited to your account! You’ll see your updated balance in your Buzz transactions momentarily, and you’re now ready to get creating!
FAQ
Q: Is this a replacement for a payment processor?
A: No, this is a stop-gap measure, and we’re still pursuing all avenues to resume normal operation!
Q: I’m seeing a “This store can’t accept payments right now” message.
A: In some regions PayPal may not be available. Because all Buzz purchases on BuyBuzz.io are facilitated by PayPal, if that option is not available in your region you will see this message, and will be unable to use BuyBuzz.io.
Q: Can I use BuyBuzz.io to buy a Civitai.com Membership?
A: No. BuyBuzz.io is currently limited to buying Buzz only.
Q: Are there fees?
A: No, no fees. If you pay $10, you receive 10,000 Buzz.
Q: Do Gift Card Codes Expire?
A: No, there is no expiration on Gift Card Codes.
Q: Do I have to redeem the code myself, or can I gift it to someone else?
A: Codes can be redeemed by anyone with a Civitai account, so feel free to pass them along.
Q: Can I use multiple gift codes on one account?
A: You can redeem as many codes as you like; they’ll all add to your Buzz balance.
Q: Can I get a refund on my gift card?
A: Gift card purchases are non-refundable, so make sure you’re happy with your selection before checking out.
Q: Do gift card’s confer the Membership Bonus Buzz?
A: No. Gift cards exist outside of the regular Buzz purchasing ecosystem and do not confer additional Membership bonuses.
